The Seasonal Colleague Advisory Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Colleague Advisory team by managing background check assessments and performing various general advisory tasks. This hybrid position allows for flexibility, enabling employees to work from home occasionally, provided they meet the necessary technology requirements and receive prior approval. Alternatively, employees can choose to work solely from the company facility. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing candidate criminal history and drug screening information to assist in determining employment eligibility. You will conduct phone assessments with candidates regarding the information submitted on pre-boarding documents and consumer reports from third-party service providers. Accuracy and confidentiality are paramount as you document these assessments and ensure that candidates provide all required information within designated timeframes. You will also evaluate candidate responses to make informed business decisions that comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In addition to background check tasks, you will handle various general Colleague Advisory responsibilities, including following up on documentation related to formal warnings, managing case queues, and assisting with employee COVID cases. Your role will require excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with candidates and People Leaders, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. Responsibilities
? Review candidate criminal history and drug screening information to assist in determining employment eligibility.

? Conduct phone assessments with candidates related to information submitted on pre-boarding documents and/or provided in a consumer report from a background/drug screening third-party service provider.

? Document phone assessments with candidates with a high degree of accuracy, maintaining confidentiality.
,
? Ensure candidates supply all required information within the designated timeframe.
,
? Evaluate candidate responses and make appropriate business decisions to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

? Make sound decisions to mitigate legal risk.

? Follow up on documentation related to other Colleague Advisory case types (Formal Warning/Final Warnings) and upload to imaging.

? Follow up with action items/tasks needed to complete cases.

? Make initial contact with People Leaders to set up time to speak with specialists.
,
? Assist with case queue management.
,
? Answer and respond to phone inquiries.
,
? Assist with reviewing and processing employee COVID cases.
,
? Provide general case assistance.

Requirements
? High School diploma or equivalent is encouraged.

? Prior Human Resources experience preferred.

? Analytical skills to review candidate criminal history and drug screening information.

? Strong communication skills for conducting phone assessments and documenting findings accurately.

? Decision-making skills to evaluate candidate responses and ensure compliance with laws.
