Job Description:
Must have the ability to function and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing schedules, and running eligibility at time of scheduling. Will also be cross trained for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including greeting patients, check in/out of patients, collecting co-pays, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members, and assisting staff with other clerical duties.
Represents office in a professional and courteous manner. Assists front office with patient management and any other duties as assigned. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year working in customer service required (Dermatology office experience preferred)
Minimum 2 year front office medical experience required (Dermatology Office experience preferred)
Minimum 2 year EHR experience required (EMA EHR experience preferred)
High school graduate, GED or equivalent
Skills:
Proficient computer skills
Exceptional telephone skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work within a team environment
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent clerical skills
