The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for planning and supervising concrete construction projects, ensuring quality work, adherence to schedules, and budget compliance. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors and the project team to achieve successful project execution and maintain safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities
? Supervise and oversee all onsite concrete operations and processes.

? Coordinate with the Senior Superintendent for all concrete schedules and operations.
,
? Communicate daily with the Project Team to ensure successful project execution.
,
? Source, select, and oversee workers for specific project tasks.
,
? Investigate damage, accidents, errors, or delays on-site to ensure safety and productivity.
,
? Ensure budget adherence regarding manpower and material expenditures.
,
? Organize and schedule field labor to meet project requirements.
,
? Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure proper planning and work harmony.
,
? Preserve quality in the concrete construction process while maintaining budget.
,
? Estimate materials, labor, and other project costs.
,
? Track and report project progress on a daily and weekly basis.
,
? Monitor productivity and identify potential delays, providing solutions as needed.
,
? Comply with all safety policies and wear proper safety equipment.
Requirements
? 5-7 years of experience in the commercial concrete forming industry.
,
? Experience with rebar placement.
,
? Proven working experience in construction management.
,
? In-depth understanding of concrete forming procedures and project management principles.
,
? Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
,
? Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
,
? Strong leadership and communication skills.
,
? Competent in conflict and crisis management.
,
? Excellent time and project management skills.
,
? Knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
,
? Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents.
,
? Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is a plus.

? OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required or ability to obtain.
Nice-to-haves
? Bilingual in both English and Spanish is preferred.
