About the position

The Banking Associate is a vital role within TD's Personal & Commercial Banking line of business, primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support at a store location in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. This part-time position, requiring 30 hours weekly, involves accurately processing everyday banking transactions and providing customers with advice and educational support on various banking products and services. The Banking Associate plays a key role in helping customers achieve their financial goals by building trust through educational content and tools, offering consultative support, and providing proactive insights and recommendations. In this role, the Banking Associate will perform a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all available banking products and services. The associate will utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers, aiming to acquire and deepen relationships by providing tailored advice and guidance. Understanding customer financial needs is crucial, as the associate will identify opportunities to promote products and services or refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal bank partner, ensuring a positive customer experience. The position requires the Banking Associate to accurately complete transactions on the teller line or platform, while also uncovering customer financial needs and educating them on relevant products and services. The associate will connect with customers through lead management activities, including creating and managing self-generated leads, handling partner referrals, and conducting customer outreach. This role is essential in establishing and nurturing customer relationships, managing wait times for meetings with bankers, and ensuring compliance with all operational activities and regulations.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED required.
,
? 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity, preferably in banking or customer service.

? Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.

? Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

? Teller experience preferred but not mandatory.
,
? Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.

? Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.

? Ability to schedule and prioritize work independently and within deadlines.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office.
