About the position

As a Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while ensuring that the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked with the products that customers need. Your primary responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, responding quickly to customer and associate needs, and ensuring that merchandise is in good condition, accurately accounted for, and delivered to customers on time. You will be responsible for pulling merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks and assisting customers and staff in moving merchandise safely. In this role, you will assist customers, delivery team members, and Installation PROviders by pulling and preparing orders prior to pick up, replenishing shelves for the next customers, and loading merchandise into their vehicles. To meet the needs of our customers, you must feel comfortable engaging in conversations with other associates to ensure that the correct products are delivered on time. You will help ensure that the right products are delivered to our customers by accurately pulling, inspecting, and preparing merchandise for delivery or pick up, as well as verifying invoices against loaded products. Additionally, you will ensure that deliveries are ready upon truck arrival and assist with loading merchandise, including large appliances. Safety is critical in this position, as you will frequently lift and move merchandise for staff and customers throughout your shift. Fulfillment Associates assigned to the Pro Department are required to be certified on specific Power Equipment (PE) within 30 days of their start date in the Pro Department, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and electrical lifts. This position generally requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week, with the potential for up to 25 hours per week for part-time associates. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties is essential. You must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance, and may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).

? 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
,
? 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
,
? Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Nice-to-haves
? 6 months retail experience.

? 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.

? 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
