HVAC & REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and be proficient in maintaining and repairing refrigeration units. This role requires a solid understanding of schematics and design, as well as hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems. If you are a motivated mechanic with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, we want to hear from you.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and components.
Troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose issues.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration units.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all work performed.
Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex projects effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in HVAC or HVAC/R systems, particularly with ammonia refrigeration.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to plumb and install various components.
Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant certifications in refrigeration or HVAC are preferred but not mandatory.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $31.10 - $42.00 per hour
