The Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Walgreens is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy. Responsibilities
? Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

? Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.

? Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.

? Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

? Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

? Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.

? Recommends items for sale and processes customer purchases.

? Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves.

? Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.

? Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to company policies.

? Handles telephone calls that do not require pharmacist's attention.

? Assists with inventory management activities and maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques.

Requirements
? Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

? Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice-to-haves
? Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

? Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

? Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.

? Prefer good computer skills.

? Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
