As a Law Enforcement Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, you will play a crucial role in protecting the Bank's property, valuables, and staff. This position involves enforcing federal laws and Federal Reserve policies, responding to incidents, and providing emergency services. You will operate under the authority granted by the Board of Governors and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and judgment in various situations.
Responsibilities
? Operate as a law enforcement officer pursuant to the authority given by the Board of Governors.

? Control pedestrian and vehicle access to the Bank facility and patrol the building and grounds.
,
? Exhibit proficiency in weapons, first aid, CPR, fire suppression techniques, and public relations through training.
,
? Respond to general alarms and provide emergency services according to established protocols.
,
? Prepare logs and input information pertaining to incidents and daily activity reports.
,
? Monitor x-ray and metal detectors, scanning visitors and packages for unauthorized items.
,
? Inspect vehicles entering secure areas for unauthorized personnel and contents.
,
? Conduct initial investigations into accidents and incidents with assistance from senior officers or supervisors.
,
? Write clear and concise police reports documenting any issues or events.
,
? Access law enforcement and Bank databases to process intelligence relevant to the FRLEO mission.
Requirements
? High school education or equivalency required.
,
? 3+ years' experience in security procedures, law enforcement, public safety, military, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
,
? Successful completion of the Basic Law Enforcement Course (BLEC) and the Field Training Evaluation Program (FTEP).
,
? Must be 21 years of age and a US Citizen.

? Valid Driver's license required.

? Knowledge of regulations, procedures, and practices of law enforcement.
,
? Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks and lift required equipment.
,
? Ability to shoot and qualify with department weapons systems.
,
? Physical ability to pass defensive tactics training.
,
? Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
