The Advisor, Retail Banking (PR North-West Region) is responsible for building rapport with existing and potential commercial customers (PYMES). Accountable for business development and relationship management in the assigned territory. Drive sales and new business strategies while providing an exceptional customer service and support. Promotes the service culture and coordinates cross-selling of products and services in accordance with corporate objectives. Position will be working hybrid based in Manati, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Analyze portfolio for customers and maintain optimal customer relationships for new business acquisition. ? Advise commercial customer on optimal product and service options to that fulfill their needs. (deposits, transactional services (cash management/POS), credit, etc.) ? Assessing commercial client?s overall financial position, understand their needs and develop, recommend, and execute plans for business development. ? Implement effective strategies to support the acquisition of profitable customers and identifying their financial needs to advise and offer commercial lending products ? Cultivate client base and build win-win relationships ? Ensures service needs of the commercial customers are met by handling requests directly and/or by referring to the appropriate channel to best meet the customer?s needs. ? Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk by applying knowledge of credit fundamentals and credit policies ? Analyzes and prepares loan requests for small commercial loans in compliance with the Bank?s Commercial Credit Policy. ? Optimize chances for cross-selling by building partnerships across the bank to implement revenue generating opportunities while exceeding customer expectations and optimize sales of all products. ? Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: ? Bachelor?s degree required. Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting/ Finance, majors preferred. ? Five (5) years of commercial credit, sales and portfolio management experience required. Banking experience required. ? Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. ? Thorough understanding and knowledge of commercial banking products, due diligence and closing process requirements, policies and compliance standards required. ? Analytical, problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to translate and convey complex information to customers is required. ? Must be able to work several important projects simultaneously observing the defined quality standards. ? Technology and computer systems proficiency including MS Office required. ? Good communication skills both in English and Spanish required.
