Job Description

As a Virtual Customer Service Representative at American Express, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner. • Resolve customer issues by clarifying problems, researching answers, and implementing solutions. • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers. • Document customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. • Follow up on customer interactions to ensure their issues are resolved to their satisfaction. • Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve customer service processes. • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a virtual environment. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Proficiency with computers and various software applications. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if needed.

Educational Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Some college education preferred.

Experience:
• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
