Step Into a Leadership Role at Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital

Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital has proudly served the pet-loving communities of Tribeca, SoHo, NoHo, Chinatown, and Little Italy since 1982. Known for our warm, neighborhood feel and high-level medical care, our clients travel back to us time and again because of the exceptional service and expertise we provide.

We're now seeking an experienced Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to help shape the future of our team. If you're passionate about patient care, mentorship, and creating a cohesive, empowered team, this is your moment.

Why Join Us?

At Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital, you'll find a collaborative and supportive culture that prioritizes mentorship, continuing education, and team gratitude. Our hospital is part of a larger network with sister locations, offering unique opportunities for learning and career growth.

You'll also work alongside Fear Free Certified Professionals, two our traveling specialists: a board-certified cardiologist (ACVIM), and an emergency and critical care specialist (ACVECC), giving you a front-row seat to elevated, high-quality medicine.

Your Role as a Lead LVT

In this leadership role, you'll have the autonomy and support to:
  • Mentor and train Veterinary Technicians and Assistants while building a strong, positive team culture.
  • Lead workflow management across surgery and outpatient care.
  • Shape hospital protocols and SOPs for consistency and efficiency.
  • Elevate patient care through proficiency in anesthesia, surgical prep, and especially dentals, including dental radiographs.
  • Be the glue between departments, ensuring seamless communication across medical and client service teams.
  • Play an active role in leadership training and building team camaraderie.

You'll be encouraged to bring your ideas, build team spirit, and help shape the culture in meaningful ways, strengthening an already cohesive and grateful team.

    What We're Looking For
  • Active LVT license in NY State
  • 4+ years of clinical experience (open to less experience for the right passionate leader)
  • Strong proficiency in surgery and dentistry
  • Natural mentor with a drive to lead and inspire
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Passion for continued learning, growth, and high-quality medicine
    What We Offer
  • $33-$35/hour based on experience
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid after 6 months)
  • Full-time schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, with set scheduling and some flexibility
  • Full benefits for full-time team members, including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA and FSA options
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick, bereavement, jury duty, and holidays
  • CE allowance + paid CE days
  • Uniform provided
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Generous pet care discounts
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Career growth across our sister hospitals in the Downtown Veterinary Group network
