The Senior Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. This includes providing excellent customer service, managing the day-to-day store operations, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and employees. Additionally, the Senior Assistant Manager acts as a leader on the store team by coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating store team members
- Provide excellent customer service and lead by example in creating a positive shopping experience for each customer
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are displayed in a professional and visually appealing manner
- Ensure a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and employees by maintaining store standards
- Monitor sales performance and implements strategies to achieve store goals
- Communicate with the Store Manager to ensure all store operations are running smoothly
- Act as the Store Manager in their absence
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of retail management experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to perform effective problem-solving
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
