Job Description:

As a Call Center Representative for South Airlines, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with inquiries related to flight bookings, cancellations, and general travel information. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for attending to customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email. You will assist customers in navigating our website and mobile application, ensuring they have a seamless booking experience. It is crucial to exhibit strong communication skills, patience, and empathy, as you may encounter frustrated customers who require your support and guidance.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking while maintaining a calm demeanor. You will also need to familiarize yourself with our policies, procedures, and systems quickly to provide accurate and helpful information to our customers. As a part of our team, you will contribute to building our brand’s reputation for excellent customer service.

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet. • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with word processing and email. • Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism. • Prior customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities: • Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries effectively. • Provide information regarding flight schedules, fares, and travel policies. • Assist customers with booking, changes, and cancellations of flights. • Resolve customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions. • Document customer interactions accurately in our customer management system. • Promote and upsell additional services when appropriate. • Stay updated on company policies and industry trends to better assist customers.

Educational Qualifications:

At a minimum, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
