Requirements: Â Minimum of 2 years of NBI/Conflicts experience in the legal industry, with a preference for those with prior new business intake/conflicts experience. Â BachelorÂs degree preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Â Proficiency in MS Office applications and computerized Conflicts/Workflow software. Â Strong analytical and research abilities, with good judgment in identifying and communicating conflict issues, and collaborating with attorneys and legal assistants.
Duties:
 Manage daily workflow, run conflict checks, assign client matter numbers, and make necessary client matter adjustments while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
 Handle all client matter modifications, assign affiliations, and process reports such as Dunn and Bradstreet (DNBi)/Hoover to maintain system integrity and database cleanliness.
 Notify attorneys of issues during the matter opening process, manage client matter re-openings, and complete exiting attorney reports and file closures.
 Safeguard client and employee confidences by maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all firm policies and procedures.
 Train and mentor new NBI hires, staff, and attorneys on NBI policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
