Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in the academic discipline to be considered and have taken a Biology course respective to their tutoring area. Responsibilities Consult with instructors about course materials to determine academic needs. Be at work during scheduled tutoring times. Create a comfortable, respectful learning environment during sessions. Promote active learning in tutoring sessions. Sanitize & clean laboratory. Qualifications Course proficiency as demonstrated by transcript and interview of committee members. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Skills & Abilities Attention to detail. Ability to relate to students and tutor appropriately.
