Job title: Special Education Paraprofessional Company: Minnesota Valley Education District Job description : Park Elementary School, within the Le Sueur-Henderson Public School District, is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional. This position will be working with special education students in a resource room setting and in general education classrooms. Job Summary: Assist teachers in the delivery of Special Education programming Qualifications: 2 or 4 year degree, minimum high school diploma Work effectively with students and staff; cooperative working style and good organizational skills Working Conditions: Assist case manager Perform any duties as prescribed in a student's Individual Educational Plan Support and monitor students' work (individually or in groups) in content areas Provide feedback to the case manager on student performance Attend meetings and/or training as requested Monitor children to support district-wide behavioral expectations Proctor assessments as requested Attend CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training and maintain CPI certification Maintain certifications as required Perform other duties as needed or assigned Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position Application Procedure: online Selection Procedure: Interested persons must complete the online application.
