Position Summary: The Economics Department in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2023-24 academic year. We are primarily looking for instructors to teach Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomic Analysis, Principles of Microeconomic Analysis, Work, Wealth, and Income Distribution (W), and Medical Economics. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Minimum Qualifications: The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a master's degree in Economics or closely related fields. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the course of interest. Bilingual candidates will be given preference. Responsibilities: Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
