About This Role
The IHS Designated Coordinator is responsible for meeting with, setting up, and providing ongoing training and support to individuals accessing AccraÂs Individualized Home Supports with Training (IHS) program.
 This position requires travel to clients' homes in the surrounding Metro counties**
Requirements
Must meet one of the following requirements.
 Bachelor degree in a field related to Human Services, and one year of full-time work experience providing Direct Care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
 Associate degree in a field related to Human Services, and two years of full-time work experience providing Direct Care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
 Diploma in a field related to Human Services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing Direct Care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
 Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to Human Services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing Direct Care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).
Additional Requirements
 1 year experience in a Human Service field
 Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
 Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
 Have a valid driverÂs license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
 Ability to travel independently across the Accra geographic service areas. Apply Job!
