You will handle Travel Advisor phone calls, chats, questions and requests such as adding inventory, releasing inventory, modifications and finalizations. You will own cases and tasks and ensure as a POD, the assigned work is being completed effectively and efficiently. You will communicate with many teams throughout the organization and with suppliers and Travel Advisors.
A successful Group Service Specialist will:
â¬Ä½ Truly enjoy customer service and have a strong understanding of Groups
â¬Ä½ Own & close cases and tasks and consistently meet KPI expectations
â¬Ä½ Help with finalization and the phone queue if team members on other pods are out or during busy season
â¬Ä½ Monitor Room Lists, Final Countdown Letters and assign the Queue as needed
â¬Ä½ Strive to grow repeat business by building customer rapport and providing outstanding service
â¬Ä½ Collaborate with other service team members and team leaders to meet team expectations and provide suggestions for process improvements
â¬Ä½ Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by leader
Requirements: â¬Ä½ High School Diploma/equivalent required â¬Ä½ 2+ years of customer service experience is preferred â¬Ä½ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools - Excel, Word, TEAMS & PowerPoint â¬Ä½ Experience utilizing CRM tools to help manage business â¬Ä½ Strong Customer Service and problem-solving skills â¬Ä½ Great technology skills and detail oriented â¬Ä½ Ability to work with team members in both an office & work at home environment â¬Ä½ Maintain focus & energy in fast-paced group environment â¬Ä½ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills â¬Ä½ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication â¬Ä½ Ability to travel up to 5%, Domestic or International
