Requirements:Â Love for pets and experience caring for them. Â Ability to pass a background check. Â Willingness to adhere to RoverÂs pet care standards and safety guidelines. Â Access to the Rover app is required to offer dog walking, daycare, and drop-in visit services. Â You must be at least 18 years of age to become a sitter and dog walker on Rover. Â Sitters and walkers on Rover are considered independent contractors. This means that youÂll be running your own small business on Rover and wonÂt be considered a Rover employee. Â There is a $49 profile review fee to offer pet care services on Rover. Note: Profile review fees may change over time. They may also vary depending on your location
