<div>We&#8217;re looking for a <strong>Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA)</strong> to join our <strong>Sana Care</strong> team. In this role, you’ll handle both clinical and administrative tasks to support our patient-centered approach to healthcare. This is more than just a job &#8211; <strong>it’s an opportunity to make a real impact</strong>. You’ll play a key role in supporting our providers and ensuring our patients get the care they need &#8211; quickly and hassle-free. <div> <strong>What you will do</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Assist providers with medication requests, lab results, x-ray results, prior authorizations, and non-clinical triaging</li>
<li>Coordinate specialty referral requests and help patients access care easily</li>
<li>Fast-track urgent imaging and lab orders</li>
<li>Be the go-to person for answering calls and providing practice info</li>
<li>Monitor EHR inboxes and support providers with patient communication</li>
<li>Work with our payer business unit to address coverage and benefit questions</li>
<li>Promote a positive, team-driven work culture</li>
<li>Help improve patient satisfaction and engagement</li>

<div> <strong>About you</strong></p>
<ul class="posting-requirements plain-list">
<ul>
<li>2+ years working as a medical assistant</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED required (associate degree preferred)</li>
<li>Medical Assistant Certification is a plus &#8211; but not required</li>
<li>Awesome people skills &#8211; you know how to make patients feel comfortable and cared for</li>
<li>Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and highly organized</li>
<li>Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)</li>
<li>Self-starter who is excited to innovate and problem-solve</li>
<li>Passionate. You care about making our healthcare system work better for patients</li>
<li>Hardworking and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed</li>
</ul>

<div>$25.96 &#8211; $25.96 an hour</div>
<div>Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at 25.96/hour + equity per year for all US-based remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.</div>
