You will solve uniquely challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers. Help manage large volumes of critical, real-time information about issues from global to local. Get s#it done.This role requires an active US Secret clearance.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


  • System administration of Apple, Windows and Linux development, test and production systems

  • Implementing and utilizing our monitoring, alerting, and response system capabilities while keeping current with industry and new solutions that may integrate with program systems

  • Utilizing security management capabilities. Monitoring and maintaining awareness of user access logging, privilege management, vulnerability management, patching, and network throughput among various program environments.

  • Server builds (physical/virtual) hardware life cycle, system updates, software and security patching, and technology roadmaps

  • Supporting and maintaining DHCP, AD, DNS, CA and Print servers

  • Supporting various Atlassian software suites - JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket

  • Supporting IDP applications, Google, O365, Life Cycle Management applications

  • Imaging company endpoints

  • Supporting VMware vCenter/vSphere Infrastructure

  • Configuring and maintaining various access control methodologies

  • Documenting and/or updating IT and Cyber Security policies and procedures

  • Maintaining secure computing environments through industry best practices such as DISA STIG or CIS Benchmarks

  • Utilizing remote control software, remote desktop protocols, and other remote administration tools

  • Supporting an onsite and remote workforce utilizing best practices and effectively collaborating with remote teams

  • Working independently on many day-to-day tasks with the support of team members and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and goals

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE


  • 3+ years Windows system administration

  • Managed Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu) Servers/Desktops in an enterprise setting

  • Managed Apple macOS and Windows endpoints in an enterprise setting

  • VMware Management - deploy and maintenance of the hypervisor, vCenter, guest (linux or windows)

  • SAN Management

  • Management of Active Directory Environment (DNS, DHCP, AD, AD REPL, CA)

  • Planned and implement technical projects including new server deployments

  • Conducted system performance and file integrity monitoring

  • Supported user access control or other IAM solutions

  • Managed user issue identification, reporting, tracking and feedback functions

  • Escalated user issues based on trends or alerts

  • Managed alert systems and watch controls/duty roster functions

  • Monitored network service logs (firewall, routing, DNS, etc.)

  • Obtained industry recognized professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ CE.

EVEN BETTER


  • Scripting/configuration experience (Puppet, Ansible, Bash, Python, VBS, Powershell)

  • Experience with a windows RMM tool

  • Enterprise cloud app support like Azure, AWS, GSuite, Office, etc.

  • Managed Apple Endpoints using an enterprise MDM

  • Deployment Configuration and maintenance of any Atlassian Suite tools

  • Nessus/ACAS or other security Vulnerability Scanning

vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and reporting functions * Supported data loss mitigation and incident response

  • Experience with VMware 6.7 and later, deployment, maintenance and configuration
