The Government Relations Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Government Relations with implementing and supporting the Company's regulatory compliance program, including:


  • Regulatory Monitoring and Tracking in the cryptocurrency ATM space on the Federal, State, and applicable International levels;

  • Outreach and networking with key legislative and regulatory stakeholders in applicable jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

The Government Relations Manager will report to the Director of Government Relations and be exposed to an array of compliance activities, including, but not limited to:


  • Manage lobbyists in various states and monitor pending legislation as necessary.

  • Research and track current legislation and regulatory actions to keep Company leadership and other internal stakeholders informed of trends and new developments.

  • Represent the company's interests in meetings, hearings, and other government forums to advocate for responsible regulation of the Cryptocurrency Kiosk Industry.

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of relevant legislation, regulations, and policy developments at the federal, state, and local levels.

  • Provide strategic guidance to internal teams on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Develop and analyze approaches to support the company's business objectives and manage outreach and interactions with government officials related to our business and services.

  • Understand the Company's business, risk, and compliance position on current initiatives to effectively communicate and advocate to key stakeholders.

  • Performing other duties as requested by the Director of Government Relations.

  • Travel outside of home market up to 50%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, law, government or public policy.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and rules impacting the financial services and cryptocurrency industries.

  • A thorough understanding of Federal and State legislative processes, with a preference for experience in the Digital Asset Industry and consumer protection policy.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret legislation, regulations, contracts and other legal documents.

  • Strong analytical / research skills coupled with ability to effectively summarize findings in a succinct and organized manner.

  • Ability to grasp complex processes quickly and be able to identify risks and compensating controls.

  • Excellent problem solving abilities and results oriented; able to make decisions independently.

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
