Airline Strategic Programs Advisor

In this role, you will work as a strategic consultant to the FedEx Airline domain, serving as a subject matter expert to provide thought leadership and push business leaders to identify out-of-the-box opportunities that drive initiative progress and value. You will play a vital role in defining and advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value, ensuring that the right level of rigor and visibility is provided for desired outcomes. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to brainstorm solutions and influence business decisions using a fact-based approach, take new ideas from concept to execution, and communicate with key stakeholders.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert knowledge on FedEx airline operations, including but not limited to network planning, aircraft maintenance and technical operations, fleet management, crew scheduling, and flight safety to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and present detailed strategic plans which align with the FedEx airline operations’ goals/objectives and establish clear, measurable, and achievable objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Utilize clear, concise communication with leadership, team members, and stakeholders – including both verbal and written – to share updates and expectations, deliver and provide feedback, and address concerns effectively.
  • Be action-oriented with ability to garner and follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Growth and flexibility mindset that can quickly adapt to change.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline.

Minimum Experience:

5 years of experience in business operations, transportation, logistics or related fields.

    Knowledge Skills:
  • Proven decision-making skills; ability to make and defend strategic decisions with little guidance.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring, and solving skills.
  • Strong executive presence, human relations, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects and initiatives from end-to-end (ideation and scoping through execution) to deliver maximum business outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $7488.36 - $9922.08 Monthly
