Our management entity, Daas Collective, Inc., oversees operations, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Admin & Bookkeeping Contractor to support our financial and administrative needs.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized professional to assist with bookkeeping and administrative support, including executive assistance to the CEO. This is a part-time, contractor position with flexible hours aligned with Pacific Time business hours, ideal for someone experienced in bookkeeping and general business administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
? Match vendor invoices to inventory and sales invoices in our POS system.
? Reconcile vendor statements and invoices; prepare accounts payable.
? Perform light-touch QuickBooks tasks, including bank account and credit card reconciliation.
? Process payroll in QuickBooks.
? Record QuickBooks journal entries (e.g., monthly sales logs from the POS system).
? Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
? Assist with other minor bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Administrative Support:
? Handle business mail and manage random business filings.
? Provide remote administrative assistance for store locations (e.g., dealing with utility companies, vendor accounts, or other store needs).
? Act as an executive assistant to the CEO, handling various operational and admin tasks.
Qualifications: ? Strong experience in QuickBooks Desktop, Intuit Payroll and general bookkeeping. ? Familiarity with POS system transactions and inventory/sales reconciliation. ? Previous experience in accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. ? Ability to manage administrative tasks and handle business filings. ? Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. ? Reliable with the flexibility to handle tasks as they arise.
Preferred:
? Background in executive assistance or business operations.
? Availability during Pacific Time business hours for occasional urgent tasks.
? Experience working in retail, optical, or a multi-location business.
Job Details:
? Hours: Part-time, estimated 10-20 hours per week, flexible.
? Work Location: Remote (San Diego County-based preferred).
? Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
? Contract Basis: 1099 Independent Contractor.
