The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing teletherapy services to students within various school districts in Mountain Time Zones
Overview:
At VocoVision, our nationwide network provides access to a diverse range of positions, both full-time and part-time. All roles are completely virtual, allowing you to work from home or any location of your choice. Our caseloads vary from PreK to transitional ages, and positions may include roles in resource, self-contained settings, or case management.
Key responsibilities may vary from district to district. However, common duties include to deliver high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students with IEPs and 504s through our teletherapy platform. Develop and implement customized educational plans and strategies tailored to each student?s unique needs, collaborating with students, families, and other educational professionals to ensure effective communication and progress tracking. Utilize virtual tools and resources to create engaging and effective learning experiences while maintaining accurate records of student performance and communicating regularly with parents and guardians.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor?s degree in Special Education or a related field is required, with a Master?s degree preferred. Candidates must hold a valid Special Education teaching certification from both their state of residency and the state of work's department of education. Proven experience working with students with special needs is essential, ideally in a remote or virtual setting. Strong proficiency with digital tools and teletherapy platforms, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is crucial. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment is also required.
Requirements:
We require that all contractors obtain both general and professional liability insurance before starting their assignment. Additionally, all applicants need to be comfortable understanding that this role is strictly 1099, for independent contractors. Before an interview we require that all candidates complete and pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general zoom capabilities.
