- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide one-on-one coaching and group education on newborn care, parent-infant bonding, and postpartum well-being through telehealth and in-person workshops
- Offer evidence-based guidance on infant sleep, feeding, soothing techniques, attachment, and early developmental milestones
- Support parents in adjusting to postpartum life, including self-care and navigating family transitions
- Facilitate workshops and support groups for new parents on various topics related to child development and parenting
- Collaborate with the employer's team to continuously improve services based on parent feedback and evolving research
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, Family Studies, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Specialized experience in infant and postpartum care, parent coaching, or early childhood intervention
- Strong understanding of infant mental health, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care
- Experience working with diverse families, including first-time parents and families navigating postpartum challenges
- Excellent communication, listening, and non-judgmental coaching skills
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications in evidence-based parenting programs (Incredible Years, Triple P, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Promoting First Relationships) are highly preferred
- Passion for the newborn and postpartum period, with the ability to provide guidance for parents of older children when needed
