About the Role

We?re currently supporting a client in the financial industry who is shifting their focus toward data warehouse development. As part of this evolution, we?re seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Database Engineer to step in and support their ongoing data initiatives.

If you're experienced with SQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Python, and have a background in data engineering or advanced analytics, this is an excellent opportunity to make a strategic impact.

Requirements

What You?ll Do
? Work directly with the client?s data engineering and analytics teams to design and enhance their data warehouse architecture
? Write efficient, scalable SQL queries and develop ETL/ELT pipelines
? Maintain and optimize data structures in Snowflake and SQL Server
? Develop robust data models and support data governance practices
? Conduct deep-dive analyses, generate insights, and create dashboards or reports to support business decisions
? Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders

Ideal Profile
? 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data engineering, or database development
? Strong command of SQL (advanced querying, stored procedures, performance tuning)
? Proven experience with SQL Server and Snowflake
? Solid programming experience in Python, especially for data transformation and automation
? Understanding of data warehousing concepts, normalization, indexing, and schema design
? Bonus: Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
