Netcost Market is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Accounting Executive and broader finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our day-to-day financial operations, including weekly reporting, e-commerce bookkeeping, credit card expense management, ACH/wire payment processing, and maintaining our accounting records in QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities: ? Support for Accounting Executive: ? Serve as the primary assistant to the Accounting Executive, providing ongoing support with daily tasks, special projects, and financial analysis. ? Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and financial summaries as requested. ? E-Commerce Bookkeeping: ? Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping records for our online sales platforms. ? Reconcile e-commerce transactions and ensure all data is accurately recorded in the accounting software. ? Credit Card Expense Monitoring: ? Oversee spending on corporate credit cards including Amex, Card Serv, and Citi Costco. ? Reconcile monthly statements, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal policies. ? ACH & Wire Payment Processing: ? Prepare and schedule ACH and wire transfers to vendors according to established payment calendars. ? Manage vendor relationships by ensuring timely and accurate payments, both regular and special. ? Process ACH payments for service bills on a weekly basis, maintaining proper documentation and approvals. ? Account Management & QuickBooks Administration: ? Set up and maintain new customer and vendor accounts within QuickBooks, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. ? Assist in performing periodic reconciliations and month-end closing tasks. ? Intercompany Transfers: ? Process internal transfers between corporate legal entities, maintaining clear records and ensuring alignment with accounting standards. ? Compliance & Internal Controls: ? Adhere to company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. ? Assist in audits, provide necessary documentation, and implement improvements to ensure financial data integrity.

Qualifications: ? Associate degree or bachelor?s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. ? 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within retail or e-commerce sectors. ? Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). ? Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines. ? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
