Sportsbook Part Time Cashier

Reporting to the Sports Betting Supervisor and Sportsbook Manager. The Sports Betting Cashier is responsible for an efficient and timely exchange of cash in the form of wagers from patrons. This position is responsible for supporting the Sports Betting operation by selling tickets, as well as providing information to enable guests to wager on various sporting events. The Sports Betting Cashier pays winning Sports Wagering tickets. The Sports Betting Cashier receives bets from patrons in a fast paced environment. This interaction between customer and Sports Betting Cashier is pivotal and must be done in a professional and courteous manner. Information must be entered into the World Till (IGT) system accurately. This position places an emphasis on the ability to deliver superior customer service and till accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers, utilizing the highest degree of skill in processing wagering tickets. ? Utilizes Spotlight on Success service standards to provide exceptional customer service to customers. ? Cashiers need to be aware of Monitored Customer (MC) limits and when to notify a Supervisor of any players with wagers requiring a tracking number. ? Accurately accounts for all cash received. Ensures all voids, cancellations, winning and losing tickets are processed properly. ? Knows all terms and conditions pertaining to sports wagering. ? Must be fully aware of the markets offered to patrons in the Sportsbook. ? Reports any safety concerns to assigned Supervisor. ? Remains alert for Responsible Gaming, Anti-Money Laundering, and other regulatory issues. Should this occur, this must be reported promptly to the Supervisor. ? Remains focused when processing patron?s wagers to avoid inaccuracies. ? Answers guest questions courteously and informatively while using brief expressions of goodwill to deliver superior guest service. ? Takes part in any necessary training programs. ? Does not show any favoritism or ?rooting? interest in any particular team or game. ? Cleans up work area, helps maintain facility cleanliness and performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma and/or Associate?s Degree and/or Bachelor?s Degree with strong mathematical skill set. Must be 21 years of age.
Special Qualifications:
Strong background and in-depth knowledge of the industry and wagering process a must.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to act professionally and confidently interact with all constituents.
Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment and diplomacy.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Language Skills:
