Job Description: SAS1 Government Compliance is seeking a Specialist that will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, audit support/lead, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment level functions including but not limited to: Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.
Essential Functions:
? Support with preparation of the Annual Final Incurred Cost Proposal
? Facilitiate various government audits and reviews with DCAA/DCMA or other government regulatory agencies. This may include but not limited to audits related to: Final Incurred Cost Proposals, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, Cost Accounting Standards, Business Systems, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements (i.e. MAAR 6 & MAAR 13)
? Assist with ad hoc requests/analysis and special projects regarding compliance issues as needed
? Create and maintain documentation related to audit procedures
? Prepare and provide compliance-related training, as needed
Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the aerospace/government contracting environment. OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
? 2+ Years experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
? 3+ Years experience with Microsoft office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
? Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail with the ability to effectively summarize analyses, where appropriate.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $62,000-115,00. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $71,500- $132,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
