The role you?ll contribute:

The role of the project manager is to provide synergy for making breakthrough improvements possible. The process manager acts as a catalyst for process owners and process improvement team to achieve defined improvement objectives and specific goals. To accomplish these objectives, the project manager is an internal process improvement consultant and leader of change. He/she must understand, but be independent of the work processes to provide unbiased direction to the executive and senior leadership, process improvement teams and the organization overall. The project manager must focus on process improvement as well as results. This position will manage projects as directed by AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) leadership. This may include evaluation of vendors, leading aspects of the on-boarding/acquisition process which may include working with prospective groups to collect relevant information (financials, productivity data, etc) evaluating prospective acquisitions to identify differences in operations pre vs post acquisition. Working in tandem with the AHMG on-boarding team, this role will also take the operational lead on practice acquisitions and physician recruitment, where appropriate, to ensure hand-off from on-boarding to operations is smooth. This role will also include evaluating opportunities to standardize workflows within the physician practices and could include engaging in interim management roles within the group as needed. This individual will work closely with the Division non-Acute project manager. Projects around enhancing patient experience will be a focus.

? Promotes the philosophy, mission and vision of Florida Hospital and Adventist Health System (AHS) to employees, patients and other contacts outside the facility.

? Assists in the identification and evaluation of processes for improvement. Makes recommendations to VP Operations for identified opportunities.

? Conducts assessments of current processes to determine the opportunity for standardization and/or greater efficiency.

? Develops project plans, determines how results will be measured.

? Works closely with the Director of Physician Services and in tandem with the on-boarding team on practice acquisitions and physician recruitment, where appropriate. Is the Operations representative to prospective practices that identifies and highlights key differences of pre and post-acquisition or recruitment. This will result in being an active member of the on-boarding team.

? Manages the team chartering process, assists in selection of team members (as needed).

The expertise and experiences you?ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

? 7 Years of management experience.

? 5 Years of practice management experience.

? Prior project management, or equivalent.

? Practical experience in managing and administrating physician practices

Preferred qualifications:

? Bachelor?s Degree
