Responsibilities
? Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.

? Administer oral solutions as per established training.

? Research test/client information and confirm all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems.

? Accurately enter data and billing information, and collect payments when required.

? Process specimens by labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required by test orders.

? Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory management, sanitizing, filing, and answering phones.

? Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
,
? Assist with the compilation and submission of statistics and data as required.
,
? Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, including maintenance and temperature logs.

? Complete online and in-person training courses in a timely manner.
Requirements
? High school diploma or equivalent.
,
? Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic preferred.

? Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

? One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

? Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

? Keyboard/data entry experience.
