The Bank Teller is to provide superior and quality customer service; provide
customers efficient and accurate transaction processing.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Basic math and computer skills
? Cash-handling experience
? Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
? Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency
What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
? Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the work flow.
? May train new employees and answer co-worker questions.
? Will be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.
? May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
? Assists CSR?s with various customer service duties and admits customers to
safe deposit boxes.
? Open and Close Vault
? Promotes the bank?s products and services; consistently cross-sells bank
products at every opportunity.
? Makes concentrated effort to solve customer problems.
? Follows teller over/short policy.
? Follows Cash Handling policy.
? Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering
regulations. This includes identifying customers properly, initiating CTRs and
SARs investigations as needed, utilizing OFAC records and maintaining
appropriate records.

? Adheres to Bank?s policies and procedures and all Federal and State laws and
regulations.
? Accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, verifying cash and
endorsements and giving customers their receipts.
? Identifying customers and cashing checks, or referring customers to an officer
for authorization to cash checks.
? Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures.
? Providing Cashier?s Checks.
? Balances cash daily
? Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers, potential
customers, and co-workers.
? Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
? Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and
goals.
? Accepting loan payments.
? Expected to greet all customers and when known to call the customer by
name, and when the customer is finished with their transaction(s), thank them
for their business and tell them to have a nice day.
? Balance the ATM
? A strong proponent of branding the Kasasa Product. Able to communicate
effectively the positive features of the bank's personal checking account
Kasasa.
