Maintenance Supervisor - Franchise

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the repair and maintenance of the property?s physical structure to the highest standards of quality and safety. Supervise and guide Maintenance department associates, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to achieving exceptional guest satisfaction scores.
? Maintain the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas by performing routine maintenance tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other related repairs using hand tools.
? Notify management of the need for major repairs or upgrades to lighting, heating, ventilation, or other critical systems.
? Respond promptly and professionally to guest service requests in alignment with company policies, maintaining accurate records of completed tasks.
? Program and configure phone systems in accordance with hotel requirements to ensure seamless communication.
? Monitor and record daily utility meter readings and equipment performance to ensure optimal operation.
? Remain accessible and responsive to both the Front Desk and Chief Engineer to address any immediate maintenance needs.
? Maintain up-to-date records of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all relevant chemicals and substances used.
? Ensure proper par stocking of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies to minimize downtime and delays.
? Familiarize with and adhere to emergency procedures to ensure swift, effective responses during critical situations.
Work Experience
? HS Diploma or equivalent
? Minimum 2 years maintenance experience.
? Technical licenses such as: HVAC/EPA certifications & hotel experience
? Understand and use specifications.
? Work to precise measurements.
? Use arithmetic to measure, compute number of materials to use, and to inspect product to be sure it conforms to requirements.
? Lift and move materials and products.
? Climb and balance self.
? Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
