Law Firm Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Our personal injury law firm is looking for a dedicated Receptionist/Legal Assistant to handle client-related duties, general office management tasks, and provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. When our clients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. Experience as a Receptionist or Legal Assistant is preferred but not required. The Receptionist/Legal Assistant will be responsible for greeting clients as soon as they arrive and connecting them with the appropriate attorney or paralegal. This role will also involve answering the phone in a timely manner and directing calls to the correct offices. The successful candidate will manage both digital and hard copy filing systems, perform data entry, prepare and send requests for medical records and insurance documents, and communicate with clients to provide case updates and to obtain updates on the status of their medical treatment. Other general office duties will also be part of the role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and there is an opportunity for overtime and bonuses depending on performance. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a professional demeanor to interact with clients and team members effectively. A strong work ethic and a positive overachieving attitude are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED required.

? Proven customer service experience.

? Administrative experience in a law office or similar environment preferred but not required.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
