Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Assist customers in finding and selecting home decor and furniture items that meet their needs and preferences.
Utilize knowledge of current home decor trends and styles to make personalized recommendations to customers.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and store fixtures.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Continuously expand knowledge of products and services offered in the home department to effectively assist customers.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times to represent the JCPenney brand.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to home decor and customer service.
Maintain a positive and motivated attitude, even during busy or challenging periods.
Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, while also ensuring customer satisfaction.
Proactively seek out opportunities to assist customers and anticipate their needs.
Continuously seek ways to improve customer service and overall store performance.
Effectively communicate with management and team members to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
Adhere to all scheduling and attendance policies to maintain a reliable and dependable work ethic.
Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to management as needed.
