Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Salary Range: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Reports To: Management Team

As a leader in the industry, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee and manage all financial aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities: ? Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and month-end close processes. ? Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including the general ledger. ? Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial transactions. ? Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. ? Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. ? Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax. ? Track and manage project budgets and construction cost allocations. ? Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections. ? Assist with audits and year-end tax preparation. ? Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: ? Education: Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). ? Experience: Minimum of 3 years in full-charge bookkeeping, preferably in real estate development, construction, or investment sectors. ? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, QBO or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). ? Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. ? Familiarity with real estate accounting, including project cost tracking and budget management. ? Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail. ? Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience in the real estate development or investment industry. ? Knowledge of California tax laws and regulations. ? Familiarity with accounting systems tailored to real estate and construction.
