About the Team

Sephora?s new Employee Experience & Labor Relations team focuses on proactive labor relations strategy by engaging with employees, leaning into a data-driven approach to diagnose organizational health issues, and shaping employee experiences to maximize the potential of our people - ensuring our people are first.

Job Summary

As Employee Experience Partner, you will support the Employee Experience & Labor Relations function for Sephora US. You will work with employees, people leaders and cross-functional business partners to re-imagine the employee experience and proactive labor strategy here at Sephora. You will be a culture champion and a positive, proactive intermediary between employees and leadership. Reporting to the Employee Experience Manager, you will have the flexibility to think creatively and outside of the box on strategic initiatives involving our people.

Conducts training, roundtables, listening sessions and vulnerability assessments on employee sentiment and related engagement topics at various locations companywide.

Applies employee and labor relations expertise to successfully identify trends and challenges, predict and mitigate risk, and develop and execute solution-focused strategies and programs.

Leverages deep business understanding to identify labor issues, diagnose root causes, provide insights, offer recommendations, and develop proactive solutions.

Provide insight and feedback to business leaders, representing the voice of employees. Advise, mentor and guide people leaders, to develop positive employee engagement capability and leadership skills.

Advises, and consults with leaders on labor matters and activity in stores and DCs.

Trains and coaches leaders across retail and DCs on Union Awareness and other labor related topics as needed.

Serves as the labor relations subject matter expert in consultations with HRBPs, Employee Relations, Legal and business leaders to help facilitate organizational changes and respond to employee feedback.

Collaborates with ER, HRBP and Legal teams to analyze, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee and labor relations.

Participates in or manages projects and initiatives led by the Employee Experience team as needed.

Will primarily support employees and leaders in Retail Stores and Distribution Centers

Hours can vary depending on issue type and urgency

Travel as needed, at times with little notice. (up to 40%)

HRBP and Employee Relations related work

Experience in Labor Relations (including unionized workforces, retail preferred)

Hands on experience supporting business leaders, responding to labor and union matters, and driving employee engagement activities across a large multi-site organization (>10,000 employees)

The annual base salary range for this position is $124,438.00 - $143,545.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant?s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
