Responsibilities of the Distribution Sales Associate include driving the availability and prominence of the Pepsico Beverages collection through targeted selling techniques and efficient merchandising practices in various client channels. Key duties involve expanding product availability, growing sales figures, and offering outstanding customer service within allotted accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Distribution:
? Maintain a secure and ongoing supply of Pepsico beverages like Pepsi, Gatorade, Tropicana, Rockstar, Bang, and additional products.
? Increase sales volumes and optimize product distribution channels by actively overseeing designated accounts.
? Engage in solicitation efforts to identify innovative business opportunities aimed at enriching product availability and expanding packaging options within allocated areas.
? Position and ensure the upkeep of equipment to bolster product distribution capabilities and optimize sales opportunities.
Customer Relations:
? Provide outstanding service to allocated accounts while highlighting the merits of Pepsico's Service Advantage offering.
? Develop robust relationships with patrons to maintain their happiness and dedication.
? Establish communication channels with store managers and influential decision-makers to shape product placement and boost brand visibility.
Merchandising & Promotion:
? Elevate sales performance through the strategic deployment of point-of-sale (POS) assets to engage customers.
? Market merchandise proficiently, design appealing exhibits, maintain shelf placements, and ensure alignment with local and national operational initiatives.
? Store resets are conducted regularly to ensure shelf facings are optimized and product placement is enhanced.
Reporting & Compliance:
? Encourage adherence to the sales strategies and guidelines set forth by the company.
? Ensure detailed records are kept regarding sales activities, client communications, and promotional strategies.
Skills & Qualifications: ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Proficient in driving sales performance to reach or outperform targets. ? Proficiency in merchandising strategies that captivate customers and generate interest in displays. ? Awareness of contemporary shifts and client predilections in the beverage market. ? Proficient in handling time efficiently and orchestrating tasks cohesively.
Education & Experience:
? While a high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary, candidates with a college degree are preferred.
? It is advantageous to have prior sales experience, particularly in consumer goods or retail.
