The Opportunity at Altana
As our Director of Brand Communications, you will be instrumental in crafting and communicating our brand narrative. You'll raise awareness and enhance our company's reputation through a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives, product vision, and market efforts. Your Responsibilities: ? Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine an overarching communications strategy in support of our business goals, focusing on messaging and positioning. ? Independently design and execute key programs and campaigns that bring our communications plans to life, utilizing both internal and external resources. ? Generate robust market awareness of Altana's unique value proposition across our target geographic and industry markets, engaging with elected officials, policymakers, journalists, and the public via various platforms, including social media. ? Support media relations initiatives, including thought leadership, industry positioning, and educational outreach. ? Work closely with our executive and People teams to enhance our internal communications strategy, ensuring employees are well-informed and engaged. ? Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing actionable insights for improvement.
About You:
? Over 10 years of experience in a communications, public relations, or marketing role.
? At least 5 years of leadership experience within the same functions.
? Proven ability to motivate and lead a team, creating impactful, brand-driven content.
? Extensive knowledge of marketing and public relations campaigns.
? Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and effective messaging.
? Creative mindset for developing engaging content.
? Excellent organizational skills, adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
? Technologically savvy, comfortable working across digital platforms and creating web and mobile content.
This position is based in New York City or Washington, DC. Candidates are required to be within commuting distance of our offices.
