Qualifications

Required Education:
? High school dip Certified Nursing Assistant (or equivalent) and at least 18 years of age. Basic Life Support (BLS)* certification required prior to performing patient care. (*NOTE: Free BLS certification training provided by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) on-site as part of clinical orientation as needed).

Required Experience:
? No previous experience required.

Preferred Experience:
? One (1) year of job-related experience preferred.

Required Certification/License/Registry:
? Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

NOTE: Orientation requires your availability to completeClinical Orientation on your first fullweek (Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm).

Responsibilities

Job Summary
? Under the direction of a RN or LPN, performs a variety of routine duties involving care of medically ill acute or subacute residents; performs direct resident care; observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of residents; provides a clean and safe environment; and performs other related duties.

Reports: Registered Nurse (RN)/Nurse Manager [JC 031001], RN/Assistant Nurse Manager [JC 030303], or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [JC 041704]
