Caregiver( weekly pay)

Overview:

Duties:
• Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes or residential facilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Follow resident rights policies and ensure the safety and well-being of clients

Skills:
• Experience in home care or nursing is preferred
• Ability to clean and maintain a safe environment for clients
• Knowledge of senior care principles and practices
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques for various dietary needs
• Understanding of dementia care strategies and techniques
• Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and attentiveness
• Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for clients
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Basic understanding of patient care procedures and protocols
• Background in social work or related field is a plus
