As a Branch Service Supervisor at Synovus Financial Corp, you will play a pivotal role in leading the teller line and ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered to all clients who enter the branch. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the teller line, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing teller schedules to guarantee continuous coverage and adherence to established schedules, which is crucial for maintaining the branch's operational integrity. In addition to overseeing the teller line, you will work closely with branch management to communicate important information regarding changes to bank policies, procedures, products, and services. Your leadership will be essential in guiding the teller team in cross-selling, referrals, and new business efforts, all aimed at achieving the branch's referral goals. You will also serve as a backup to the relationship banker when needed, further emphasizing the collaborative nature of this role. Responsibilities
? Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the teller line for one or more bank branches.

? Manage teller schedules ensuring continuous coverage of teller functions and adherence to established schedules.

? Work closely with branch management to communicate key information to the branch team regarding changes to bank policies, procedures, products and services.

? Lead the teller line in cross-selling, referrals and new business efforts in support of branch referral goals.

? Serve as backup to relationship banker when needed.
Requirements
? Two (2) years of Teller experience OR
,
? One (1) year of Teller experience and successful completion of the BSS Development program OR
,
? One (1) year of experience as a Teller supervisor or as a Branch Manager with Teller duties OR
,
? Two (2) years of supervisory experience that includes one year of Teller experience OR
,
? A Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of Teller experience.

? Ability to stand on feet for a long period of time and lift objects up to 10 lbs. in weight.
,
? Knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures and federal bank regulations.
,
? High School Diploma or equivalent.
