Raytheon seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Technician to support troubleshooting, repair, required modifications and testing of Cooler Liquid Electron Tube (CLET) and Transmitter Pumping Unit (TPU) field returns. These units are needed to support radar systems out in the field. The role will require candidate to have strong technical knowledge, along with qualities such as accountability, coloration, strong communication skills, focus, and flexibility. Selected candidate should possess a growth mindset and an eagerness to learn.

This position will be located at Fort Bliss, Texas and for a 2nd shift position.

What You Will Do
? Candidate will work with Engineering and Quality Assurance Inspection on unit repairs
? Must be able to review/interpret assembly drawings and schematics in a manufacturing/rework environment, specializing for CLET and TPU assemblies for mechanical repairs, rebuilds, and test
? Candidate shall possess a strong and independent work ethic, self-driven to support assigned unit repairs without recurring need for daily supervisor reminders/interaction.
? Work in team environment with budgets and schedules; consistently meet or exceed production and quality standards.
? Maintain accurate records
? Candidate to follow and maintain a strong safety-first environment; maintain a clean and safe work area.
? Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
? Move materials and completed products to and from different locations to ensure a smooth workflow.
? Ability to stand, walk constantly.
? Constantly grasping/handling and performing dis-assemble / assemble
? Ability to reach, step, bend, stoop, and twist frequently.
? Ability to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
? May work at floor level occasionally.
? This position is for 2nd shift onsite. **This position will start on 1st shift for On-the-Job Training (OJT). Once candidate is familiar with the trouble-shooting/repair/modification/test of CLET and TPU units; candidate will move to 2nd shift.

Qualifications Must Have
? Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
? Experience with cranes, hoist and/or forklifts
? The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
