As a Security Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. In this position you will have a high level proficiency in the following areas in Security: Programming, Scripting and Automation. You will apply your knowledge in these areas to accelerate and streamline automation efforts relating to security operations in Attack Surface Management. You will provide subject matter expertise when applying security concepts, leveraging technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build, and maintain technology solutions. You will be responsible for deliverables related to project timelines and will work with architecture to take high level architectural designs and determine the specifics around implementation details, integration details, onboarding and operationalization. Evaluating patches, updates, and ongoing maintenance will be part of your role, as well as determining impacts to existing solutions when new standards are implemented. You will utilize change control and other governance processes to ensure alignment of solutions. Additionally, you will develop detailed implementation, configuration, design, and engineering documentation, build and implement solutions, and work with operational partners to enable transition and day-to-day supportability. You will provide engineering support to existing technology in a production environment and collaborate with other groups as required, seeking opportunities to grow a broad knowledge base to complement specific subject matter expertise.

Requirements
? High level proficiency in programming, scripting, and automation.

? Experience with programming languages such as Python, Bash/Shell, Powershell, and Javascript.

? Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, and Chef.

? Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
,
? Experience with API integration, specifically Restful API.

? Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

? Experience in database management and scripting for database automation, including SQL and Mongo DB.
