A Day In The Life
The Business Operations and Financial Analysis Manager will support the strong dealer network development goals of our department under the leadership of the Director of Market Representation & Business Management. This role involves conducting thorough financial analysis and providing comprehensive reporting on dealer health within our organization?s dealer network. You will recommend actions to management regarding underperforming or non-compliant dealers, consult on performance issues, and monitor the timely submission of compliant financial statements. Additionally, you will enhance cross-functional collaboration and improve internal communications.

Your Responsibilities: ? Develop and manage methodologies, processes, and systems to proactively assess dealer financial health and compliance with Toyota Accounting Standards; advise management on actions for underperforming dealerships. ? Consult regularly with financially underperforming dealers to address key areas such as sales performance and expense control, ensuring follow-up on action plans. ? Conduct dealer financial analysis, including ownership assessments, to address ratios, capitalization, and profitability required for dealer agreement renewals. ? Ensure dealer compliance with financial requirements, including net working capital and annual holding company Financial Statement submissions. ? Prepare comprehensive reports detailing dealer profitability, loss analysis, capital issues, and composite analyses. ? Oversee the monthly Dealer Financial Statement submission process. ? Educate dealers on financial tracking and reporting, developing resources and training to ensure accurate submissions compliant with Toyota Accounting Standards. ? Coordinate with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. on capital requirements and networking capital agreements. ? Complete other projects as assigned.

Key Competencies:
Strong analytical abilities, systematic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential. You'll be expected to recognize complex concepts and correlate dealership activities with financial impacts. Effective communication, organization, and a results-driven approach are vital.

What We Need From You:
? Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
? 5-7 years of relevant experience in business operations, finance, or a related area.
? Experience in the automotive environment is preferred but not essential.
? Exceptional analytical, project management, and detail-oriented skills.
? Ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial audiences.
? Fluency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills and Hyperion Smart View.
? CPA certification is preferred.
? Valid driver?s license required.

Physical and Environmental Requirements: This position requires daily data analysis, communication, and prolonged periods of stationary work. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is required, approximately 20% of the time, on a domestic basis.
