Job Details:
This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position pays $17.10/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for 2nd Shift.
Culling unthrift chicks from chick line during process to help send a healthy chick to broilers.
Cleaning and sanitizing the inside and outside of incubation machines, hallways, plenum hallway, drains, and varies other locations throughout facility.
Physical requirements may include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required.
10-hour days are required.
Must take a background check REQUIRED.
This position works in an environment where temperature extremes are common.
The temperature range in these work areas are 65 to 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
Humid/Moist environment.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided to the team member at no charge.
Typical schedule is 2:00am - 12:30 pm. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. This is a 4 day 10-hour shift schedule.
The schedule could change for production needs. Will work most holidays.
