About the position

TotalEnergies is seeking qualified Financial Analysts to contribute to our team! This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally gained in a Big 4 public accounting firm, combined with experience in the accounting function of a publicly traded company. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, with CPA certification strongly preferred. A good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is essential, along with a deep understanding of the SOX environment. Proficiency in SAP or similar software, as well as versatility with the Microsoft Office suite, is required. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a keen attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the US Companies in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. The role involves reviewing these financial results and coordinating, reviewing, and distributing recurring management reporting to top management and key stakeholders. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will provide technical accounting support to TotalEnergies and its subsidiaries, preparing technical accounting memos as needed to support accounting treatment under IFRS. Liaising with the external audit team for the management and coordination of the quarterly financial audit is also a critical part of the role. The analyst will complete ad hoc requests and participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at achieving continuous operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? 3+ years of experience working in a Big 4 public accounting firm, preferably combined with working in the accounting function of a publicly traded company.
