Job Description:
? The service center technician position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable help desk experience.
? Under general supervision, provides the first level of technical support for technology services within the university.
? Work with users to resolve technology-related issues through phone assistance, email and/or remote assistance (Bomgar) and provide follow-up support to assure high levels of customer satisfaction.
? Assist with queue management and ensure tickets are resolved accurately, timely, and according to priority.
? Help troubleshoot classroom technology such as projectors, cameras, speakers, and document cameras.
? Other duties as assigned.
? Standard operating hours for this position are 7:30 AM ? 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Technicians are required to fit their schedule within standard operating hours. Technicians are also required to open and close at least twice a week.
Required Qualifications: ? Must be a currently enrolled student, registered for classes, and in good academic standing. ? Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher. ? Basic understanding of computer hardware and basic troubleshooting ability; ? Ability to work individually and also with team members; ? Must effectively communicate one on one with end users; ? Ability to efficiently manage your time in a fast-paced work environment

? Mac OS
? Audio/Video equipment
? Microsoft Office Suite
? Mobile devices
? Active Directory Services
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
